Thanks ladies. We all have beautiful hair. Our hair is unique individually. It does not define us by anymeans.....however, it does compliment the beauty that already lives in us.

I feel the same way sometimes....I feel the urge to rush the growth of my hair. When it's wet....It looks so long...lol then it just shrinks back up. Well, as I approach length....you will too. I think I had about 7 inches of natural hair before I went to consultation. I wish that I had started when my hair was shorter. Maybe mine would be locked by now. Nonetheless....I love my hair. It's gonna do what it wants to do. It'll lock eventually.

Thanks for the comments ladies..

much love,

Well Sophia,

The only advice that I can give you is to be patient. Drink lots of water and don't get discouraged. If I'm not mistaken, my sisterlock consultant installed my locks in accordance to what she thought would be the best for the type of texture hair that I have. The front was about 1/4 the size of a pencil initially. The back was about 1/2 the size of a pencil. Now, since they are settling, the majority of all of them have doubled in size (you do the math). So, I'm pretty satisfied with my outcome so far. Some of the ones near the edges are still pretty small though. I'd say, as soon as you can invest in them....DO IT!!! The sooner the better (when it comes to cost). Let that new growth grow like weeds and take caution to the wind. I highly favor the BC (Big Chop) over transitioning. However, do what you think will work the best for you....

Hope that helps :)
