BABY FRO

Lately, I've been going through a bit of frustration because my hair is so frizzy. It looks like a baby fro is surrounding my locks when the sunlight shines on them. I don't like that. Nonetheless.....I still decided to go out and have fun trying to NOT think about the baby fro.

Maybe I am washing a bit too rough. Lately whenever I take my hair out of a ponytail...I can smell it. It's not a "stinky" smell...it's just a "hair" smell (if that makes sense). I've asked other people and they say that it doesn't stink and/or smell funny.

When I got them back in august...I was washing them only once...which was a day before my re-tightening (every 6weeks). So, they seemed to be doing pretty well.

But, now...since the smell.. I took it upon myself to wash them two-maybe-three times in between my last re-tightening. Now, it's not so much the smell (to me...since no one else can smell it)...it's the baby fro.

I'm not into all those hair types. I have the slighest idea what hair type I have. It's not too coily...and it's not too loosely coiled. The edges are a lot softer than the middle. BTW...the center of my head is doing spectacular. (yippee!)

But, around the back of my neck, there is a lot of slippage...and some bunching.

I guess I'll be able to blog respectfully now that I don't have to go back to England anymore.

I'll always have my laptop around....especially now that I know where my next job is.....

(drum rolll)

Georgia!!!!!

I've never been to Georgia. I'm sure that it is a lovely place. I'll be there until July on Mondays thru Fridays. I'm so excited about this because I feel like I've been soooooo out of touch, so isolated, so lonely.

Now, at least I'll be able to keep in touch with my family more (family is essential to the soul).

My camera sucks. So, I don't have any pictures of the FRO.
Sorry!

These are some feelings.

Happy Easter

I had an awesome time this weekend. I hope that everyone else's was awesome to. My Grandad's B-day was on Easter Sunday this year so, my family and I celebrated this also. I was a little tired from all the driving that I tend to do when I come home but, nonetheless I forgot about all of that when I saw my family together. It's amazing how family can bring you up without even trying. There are some parts of me that feel down and out at times and when I catch myself pondering on what could be, what should be or what would have been pertaining to certain things in my life.....I just stop and focus on all the positive aspects in life. Then everything begins to fall in place.

I want to pull them off!!!

I've read a little about the buds (i guess that's what they are called) on the end of your hair. I've been SL'd since August and I haven't had many questions. There were issues that I had with the "wiry" look. But, I know what that's all about now. My hair has done a little bit of swelling over the last couple of months. But now, it's these little balls. I WANT TO PULL THEM OFF!!!! I do know that I can't and that it is part of the process. But why are they there? Do they just fall off? What will become of them? They're hanging on by a strand or two. And, there are a couple that seem like they are waaaaaay longer than the others. I think my hair is about 8 or 9 inches now. But those little "strays" seem like they are 11 inches or something. It's only 3 of them. They just don't want to cooperate.

Back @ home....FINALLY!!!

If you get a chance.....TAKE IT!!!
If it changes your life.......THEN LET IT!!!

I'm not completely sure where this was quoted from but, I saw it in a fwd. I seem to be drawn to if for some reason. I am surrounded by a lot of people who are afraid of "change". Sometimes I am scared of it also. I thank the man up above for the many chances that he's given me. Some of them I've used. Some of them I've abused. Yet and still, I've learned from each and every one of them.

This was just on my mind.

P.S.

I attended my 1st Rugby game and had a blast. I kinda got the hang of the rules. It's similar to American Football. But, more intense (I think). Especially because they don't wear helmets and they aren't all padded up like our guys. It was like Man Sandwiches out there. They were awesome. Very athletic. I enjoyed it.
