I've been working locally for nearly 9 months now. I've gotten settled in and I have a little routine going. I'm ahhh,,,,what you could say,,,,,happy and content. However, a monkey wrench has been thrown into my contentment. In a few weeks, I will be going to Johannesburg, South Africa to work for the next year :(
Now, don't get me wrong.....things could be worse. I know. But, SOUTH AFRICA!!! WTF?!?! Talk about not having a social life at all...
Two weeks there and one week back, yep, this will be the schedule for the next year. Sheesh.
Ah well, I guess I'll make my "things that I must do in SA" list since I will be en route soon.
I don't even have anything else to say about that.

Now that I have expressed my excitement LOL, let me understand something, you have to travel to South Africa from the US Every Month? Wow talk about a case of permanent jetlag. *sigh* goodluck

Yeah, it's going to be a crazy schedule. However, it's better than the schedule that I had in the UK. I was gone for months at a time. At least I'll be home every third week instead of every 5 weeks. That jetlag is going to be crazy.
My mom say's the same thing. It sounds like a dream job (for a single)....but, it still stresses you out a bit much. It just seems like I can't sit still. And ya know, there are times when all that i really want to do is sit still and sleep in my own bed.
